Crystal guided meditation and painting




嗨朋友們,


自從2023四月帶領了第一場的抽象花卉工作坊,
至今我已經帶領數十場的繪畫工作坊,
學員年齡從來不是限制,
我給大家的第一印象是畫花的台灣女孩,
但創作的路途是永無止盡的轉變與進步,
就如同我一直不斷經歷的死亡與重生,
不斷探索從來沒做過的新可能,
熟悉不變的狀態使我如停滯的泥淖,
在找尋新身份中我感到自在,
永遠做使自己害怕的事情才與我的靈魂真理校準,
從去年底以來,除了繪畫我正逐漸走向靈性的呼喚,
帶領工作坊的活動皆是我的日常實踐,身體舞動、自由書寫、繪畫、冥想、神諭卡等
水晶對我來說是日常配戴品,也是睡前冥想時手裡必備的能量接收


Hi friends,

Since I led the first abstract flower workshop in April 2023,

I have led dozens of painting workshops so far.

The age of the students is never a limit.

The first impression I give everyone is a Taiwanese girl who paints flowers,

but the journey of creation is a never-ending transformation and progress is just like the death and rebirth that I have been experiencing,

constantly exploring new possibilities that I have never done before.

The familiar and unchanging state makes me feel like a stagnant water.

I feel comfortable in finding a new identity,

only by always doing things that scare me can I align myself with the truth of my soul.

Since the end of last year, in addition to painting,

I have been gradually moving towards the call of spirituality.

The activities in my workshop are all my daily practices, including body dancing,

free writing, and painting, meditation, oracle cards.

Crystals are daily wear items for me, and they are also a must-have in my hand to receive energy

when meditating before bed.



最近一次的工作坊中

很多突破和實驗都是第一次。

在宣傳和準備工作坊時,我感到巨大壓力和害怕,

但我知道他們是我為他人創造美好體驗必需的感受。

如果有一天我在某項活動之前不再感到焦慮,那就是我應該停止舉辦它的那一天。

讓我跟你說我們在工作坊上一起創造的經驗!

In the process of my latest workshop,

there were many breakthroughs and experiments for the first time.

I was stressed and scared while promoting and preparing for the workshop,
but I know they are necessary feelings for me to create and pull off a good experience for others.

If there’s one day I stop feeling anxious before an event, that will be the day I should stop holding it.

Let me show you what we co-created in the workshop!



在學員抵達前,小天使幫我佈置好待會畫畫的用具

Before every arrived, my guarding angel helped me set up the table for our art time later.

大家一抵達,在還沒彼此介紹前,我也沒解釋各種水晶功能前,

我請大家直接以第一直覺選一顆礦石

如此,是希望大家相信自己的心,而不是頭腦/邏輯大腦

我也相信人與人之間不用言語就可以感知彼此

有如大樹的樹根與地底的菌絲般

據說是水晶選擇我們,而不是我們選擇水晶

每一顆來到我們身邊的水晶都是經過宇宙精心安排的

世界上有那麼多人世界上有那麼多人,那麼多顆礦石

偏偏就是我們手上握著的那一顆

不管怎麼說都是一種緣分吧!

As soon as everyone arrived, before introducing each other,

without my explanation the properties of different crystals,

I asked everyone to choose a crystal with their first instinct.

Doing so, I hoped everyone to trust their heart instead of the mind/ logical brain.

I also believe that people can feel each other without words,

just like the roots of big trees and the mycelium underground.

It is said that the crystals choose us, not that we choose crystals.

Each crystal comes to us was divinely arranged.

There are so many people and so many crystals in the world.

It happens to be the one we hold in our hands.

No matter what, it is a kind of fate.

We went straight up stairs to the Japanese room for our guided meditation session.


明潔

是第一個與我帶來的水晶互動的
她平時就有在搜集水晶的習慣
手上也帶著數條水晶手鏈
她還送了朋友欣瑩水晶
我在安靜的明潔身上看到了過去的我
安靜、敏感、不敢表達太多、但有很多愛

Minjie was the first one that interacted with my crystals.
She likes to collect crystals herself.
She also wears a couple of crystal bracelets.
She even gifted her friend Xinyin crystals.
I saw my past self in quiet Mingjie, sensitive, afraid to express, but a lot of love.


在開始呼吸練習之前,我感謝大家100%的信任。

沒有他們絕對的信任,我們就不會一起坐在這個空間。

同樣,我們要完全相信並相信水晶

如果我們對水晶半信半疑的話,我們肯定無法感受到它對我們的影響。

Before we started the breath work, I give gratitude to everyone’s 100% trust.

Without their absolute trust, we wouldn’t be sitting here together.

The same, we have to trust and believe in the properties of crystals.

If we only half believe in crystals, we definitely won’t be able to feel the effects on us.



然後,我要求大家保持開放和好奇的態度

不要有任何期望

不要指望感受到任何我們的大腦能想像到的感覺

只需開放地接受和觀察即可

無論是感覺到還是沒有感覺到水晶的任何東西,水晶肯定在對我們起作用

有感覺和沒有感覺都一樣好

沒有偏好

Then, I asked everyone to hold an open and curious attitude.

Don’t have any expectations.

Don’t expect any feelings that our brain can imagine.

Simply be open to receive and observe.

Either feeling it or not feeling anything from the crystal, the crystal was working on us for sure.

Both feeling and not feeling are equally good.

There’s no preference.

Also,

我也直接指明我不是靈媒更不是仙姑

我不會知道他們的水晶想跟他們說什麼

我也不能跟他們說他們會有什麼感覺

因為每個人的體驗都不一樣

I stated clearly that I’m not a medium.

I can’t tell what their crystals want to say to them.

I can’t tell them what they might feel because everyone experiences it differently.



啟動

To initiate,

我們緊握一下水晶來向它打招呼

We squeezed our crystals to say hi to it.


該是時候內觀及專注自己的呼吸

Time to go inward and focus on our breathing.

觀察並細細品味每一次吸氣和呼氣

在每次吸吐間屏息感受水晶帶來的平靜與療癒

隨著每次呼氣,身體都更深層地放鬆

放鬆到存在狀態 - 當下

不需要做任何其他事情

不需要證明自己

存在就是完整

We observed and savored each inhale and exhale.

We held the breathe of peace and healing of crystals inside us in between.

Our body relaxed more deeply with each exhale.

We relaxed into beingness - presence.

There was nothing else to do.

We didn’t need to prove.

Our existence is complete.

只要呼吸和存在

Simply breathe and be.



在呼吸的同時,我們將注意力轉移到我們的感官上。

我們注意房間裡的氣味,日式地板的氣味、木頭的氣味、我們燃燒鼠尾草和聖木來淨化水晶的氣味。

然後,我們的觸覺,我們手中水晶的質感,衣服接觸我們皮膚的感覺,我們骨盆接觸地板的點,我們周圍空氣的溫度。

最後,我們所聽到的聲音,除了音樂和我的引導聲音之外,還有外面的交通聲和附近孩子們玩耍的聲音,都只是一種聲音,沒有優劣、沒有該不該。

我們的感官只是一種把我們帶回當下的工具。

Whilst breathing, we shifted focus to our senses.

We paid attention to what we smelled in the room, the Japanese floor, wooden smell, the sage and holy wood we burnt to cleanse crystals.

And then, the feelings of our touch, the texture of crystal in our hand, the clothes touching our skin, the points where our pelvis touching the floor, the temperature of the air around us.

Lastly, the sounds we were hearing, apart from the music and my voice, there was also the traffic sounds outside and kids playing in the neighborhood. They are all just a kind of a sound, no preference, no shoulds.

Our senses are just a tool to bring us into our present.







在感官之後,我們把自己想像成大樹。

地下根部的長度是地上樹枝長度的兩倍,使樹木能夠承受所有天氣變化。

枝條愈高,根愈深。

要想在大地上站得穩、挺得高,就必須紮根、接地氣得夠深。

我們將根扎入肥沃的土壤,深入岩層,深入地球母親的核心。

我們連結地球母親的心臟,與她的心跳連結。



明玉姊姊

之前有禪修習慣的明玉姊姊
不需要太多指引
她有如大樹般扎根
穩穩入定

Minyu, who had a habit of meditating before,
did not need much guidance to take root
and settle down like a big tree.


After senses, we imagined ourselves as big trees.

The roots underground are twice the length of he branches above ground to allow the tree
to withstand all weather conditions.

The taller the branches, the deeper the roots.

To stand firm and tall on the earth, we must be rooted and grounded deep enough.

We extended our roots through the rich soil, into rocky layers and deep into the core of mother earth.

We plugged into the heart of mother earth and connected with her heartbeats.



我們就像樹木一樣。

我們可以透過地下感知交換資訊和能量。

在沒有口語溝通的情況下,我請每個人感受我們周圍的每個人,

他們位在哪裡,他們發出什麼能量。

您有想要連結的人嗎?

在你的心裡形成一個白色的光球,或任何顏色,然後把它送給你正在想的人。

We are like the trees.

We can exchange information and energies through our underground perceptions.

Without verbal communications, I asked everyone to sense each person’s around us,
where they are located, what vibes they are giving out.

Is there a person that you would like to connect with?

Form a white light ball in your heart, or any color, and send it to the person you’re thinking of.

該換手握水晶了

Time to swap hands to hold the crystal

慣用手是我們給予的手
非慣用手是接收的手
在冥想過程中我並沒有跟大家講
而是等到冥想後的討論我才指出
就是希望大家有更多空間自己去感受
而不是完全被我的話語影響感受

Our dominant hand is the hand that gives,
and the non-dominant hand is the hand that receives.
I didn’t tell everyone about it during the meditation, but waited until the discussion
after the meditation to point it out.
I hope everyone has more space to feel it themselves instead of being completely influenced by my words to affect feelings.

我讓大家雙手都感受水晶,

每個人根據自己的第一直覺決定繼續用哪一隻手握。

I let everyone feel the crystal in both hands,

and each can decide which hand they want to continue holding it according to their first instinct.

接下來我請大家把水晶擺在七個脈輪位置感受

我也是採取不先介紹各個脈輪

我甚至連脈輪這兩個字都沒有提到,單純提到身體部位

在冥想後的水晶介紹時我才介紹了脈輪

為的就是讓大家直接感受水晶在各個不同部位的感覺

I then invited everyone to put crystal on their 7 chakras.

I also took the approach of not introducing each chakra first.

I didn't even mention the word ‘chakra’, but simply mentioned body parts.

I introduced chakras only after the introduction of crystals.

The purpose is to let everyone directly feel the crystal in different parts of the body.



接近尾聲時,每個人都陷入了只有自己的世界。

Towards the end, everyone was falling into the world with only themselves.



從海底輪最後來到了頂輪

在這裡我請大家感受是否看到什麼顏色的光芒

或著有任何訊息浮現在腦中呢?

那可能就是礦石想跟你說的話

From the root chakra all the way to our crown chakra,

I asked everyone what color of light they saw.

Or is there any messages that comes to mind?

It may be what the crystal wants to say.

在冥想過後,我們至樓下進行下一階段的冥想分享&水晶介紹

After our meditation, we went down stairs to continue our meditation sharing

and crystal introduction.

My favorite part!





我最喜歡的是聽每個人分享他們的體驗,因為每個人都是如此獨特

每個人即使經驗同樣的事都會有不同的體驗

格外感謝欣瑩勇敢分享自己的感受

鼓勵啟發我們都跟著她一起打開心胸分享自己

My favorite was listening to everyone sharing their experiences because everyone is so unique.

Everyone experiences the same thing differently.

Special thanks to Xinying for sharing her feelings bravely.

She encouraged and inspired us all to follow her and open up and share ourselves.



這是我第一次為我的工作坊製作講義

有些人透過聽學得好,有些人透過閱讀學得好,還有些人透過觀看學得好

我想為每個人創造最完整的體驗

It was the first time I created a handout for my workshop.

Some people learn well by listening, some by reading and some by watching.

I wanted create the most complete experience for everyone.

所以我在這次工作坊付出了一切。我不僅是引導冥想練習者,

我也是地質老師,解釋不同晶體的形成過程。

我甚至是一位解釋淨化方式&水晶特性的靈性老師。

後來還是畫畫老師。

So I gave it all in this workshop. I wasn’t not only a guided meditation practitioner,

I was also a geology teacher explaining the formation process of different crystals.

I was even a spiritual teacher explaining cleansing and the properties of crystals.

And then an art teacher later.

在開始畫畫之前,我先比較了自己畫的兩顆瑪瑙

一顆比較自然好看,另一顆比較生硬不自然

原因就在於自然韻律的掌控是越不規律越好

Before I started painting, I compared the two agates I painted.

One looked more natural, the other was more stiff and unnatural.

The reason was that the more irregular the control of natural rhythm, the better.

我自己帶的用來解釋形成方式與淨化的水晶

My crystals I brought for explaining formations and cleansing methods.

瑪瑙構造類似樹木年輪

但不一樣的是他不是生命有機體不受四季影響規律成長

瑪瑙每一層都是因為岩漿填滿岩石裂縫、空腔

再很長的時間中受到各種不同地理因素影響,如壓力、溫度、礦物成分、地殼運動等…

不自然的那顆我還是太控制了

每圈的形狀粗細都太類似

我請大家畫畫時越放掉控制越好

Agate's structure resembles tree rings.

But the difference is that it is not a living organism.

and it doesn’t grow regularly like trees being affected by four seasons.

Each layer of agate is caused by magma filling the cracks and cavities in the rocks.

It is affected by various geographical factors over a long period of time, such as pressure, temperature, mineral composition, crustal movement, etc...

The unnatural one due to that I was still too controlling.

The shape and thickness of each layer are too similar.

I asked everyone to let go of control as much as possible when painting.

我跟著感覺,畫了一塊自己練習時從未想過的彩色瑪瑙。

I went with the flow and painted a rainbow-colored agate
that I’ve never thought about when practicing by myself.

在我大概示範之後,每個人都等不及自己開始了。

After I roughly demonstrated, everyone couldn’t wait to get started.

大家都安靜下來,專注於紙上的每一個筆觸

每個人都畫出自己獨特的瑪瑙

每個都好美! !

Everyone went into quietness and just focusing on each brush stroke on paper.

Each painting their own unique agate.

They are all so beautiful!!!



我知道我讓大家分享美術用具的方式可能看起來很混亂

你可能還會想,每個人如何知道要使用哪種媒材?

但我發現這種教學方式最適合我

它鼓勵大家嘗試尚未嘗試的新東西

新的媒介自然引導他們走向下一步

這樣整個過程就變得更直覺

我也喜歡人們互相幫助找到他們想要的東西

或與彼此分享他們嘗試過和喜歡的媒材

整個過程是互動的,而不是每個人一套畫具和獨自繪畫



I know my way of sharing art supplies can look messy

and you might wonder how does everyone know which medium to use?

I’ve found this way of teaching style suits me best.

It encourages people to try something new they haven’t yet

and that new medium leads them to next step.

The whole process becomes more intuitive this way.

I also love when people help each other find the thing they were looking for,

or share what they’ve tried and loved with one another.

The whole process was interactive instead of having separate sets and painting on their own.


中國魂的最強高中生弟弟

還帶了他平常畫畫用的毛筆與色盤

我說我不是教技術是認真的

因為弟弟他的畫功比我還要好!

We have a high school student with the strongest Chinese spirit.

He also brought his own calligraphy brushes and color palettes he usually used for painting.

I meant it when I said I wasn’t teaching painting skills because his painting skills are better than mine!

陰暗面的重要

The importance of shadows

『沒有痛苦就無法恢復意識。人們會做任何事情,無論多麼荒謬,以避免面對自己的靈魂。

陰暗面通常都是我們隱藏起來不想讓別人知道的自己

那通常也是我們想要被愛、被肯定的一面

如果一直壓制自己的陰暗面覺得不應該出現

那將會有如累積已久的火山爆發

在最糟糕的時機點宣洩出來不可收拾

擁抱黑暗面,可以使他成為黃金陰暗

為我們帶來最特別的力量與優點

The shadow is usually the part of ourselves that we hide and don’t want others to know.

That's usually the side of us that wants to be loved and validated.

If you have been suppressing your shadow and feel that it should not appear.

It will be like a long-standing volcanic eruption.

It comes out at the worst possible moment and goes out of control.

By embracing our shadows, they become the golden shadows,

which become our most powerful strength.

進到第二個海紋石

We now entered the second one, Larimar stone.

我拿了自己的忌妒心來做例子

當我嫉妒比我厲害比我好的人時

其實都是我的內心小孩在哭喊著

我也想要被愛、被關注、被看到

我覺得自己還是不夠好

我可以做的是看到她、理解她、認可她的價值、把她愛回來

當我看到嫉妒,嫉妒就會安靜下來

然後我就可以專心用愛讓自己變得更好

I used my own jealousy as an example.

When I am jealous of someone who is better than me, in fact, it’s my inner child that’s crying

‘I also want to be loved, noticed, and seen.

I still feel I’m not good enough.’

What I can do is see her, understand her, validate her value, and love her back.

When I see my jealousy, it becomes quiet.

And then I can focus on making myself better, with love.

如果要很逼真
那其實只要拍照就好
創作的獨特就在於創造出照片拍不出來的景象
不只你的美麗可愛
連你的黑暗陰影面
都用愛無條件接受

If you want to paint realisticly, then just take a photo.

The uniqueness of creation lies in creating scenes that cannot be captured in photos.

Not only your beauty and loveliness, but also your dark shadow side,

I accept it unconditionally with love.

欣瑩兩手並用地在畫ㄧ個和我的普通藍色海紋石很不一樣的!

我其實在上課前有想過畫粉紅底的紫晶石

但我準備過程中一直擔心自己不夠好,沒有勇氣嘗試實現

她竟然就畫出了我心中的樣子!

Xinying used both hands to paint something very different from my ordinary blue Larimar!

I actually thought about painting pinkish purple Larimar before class.

But during the preparation process, I was worried that I was not good enough

and did not have the courage to try it.

She actually painted what I had in mind!

當大家安靜地專注在自己的紙上時

我就可以稍微放鬆地東看看西看看

享受每個人創造出的驚喜

並且適時地提供幫忙

(雖然我不覺得我有幫到太多忙啦!大家都很獨立完成。)

When everyone is quietly focused on their paper,

I then can relax a little and look around,

enjoy the surprises created by everyone

and provide timely help

(Although I don’t think I helped much! Everyone did it independently.)


我很幸福有逗逗小天使全程陪伴

我深深感受到她的敏感細心

舒緩我緊張的情緒

也成為大家的開心果

I was very blessed to have the little angel Dodo accompanying me throughout the whole process.

I deeply appreciated her sensitivity and carefulness.

She not only relieved my nervousness,

but also become a barrel of laughs for everyone.



美術班的逗逗因為太會畫畫了

她右手勾的線條都是又美又滑順

所以她還特別用自己的非慣用手來達到自然抖動的韻律感

逗逗抖抖抖~~~

Dodo who was in the special art class is too good at drawing.

The lines drawn by her right hand are always always beautiful and smooth.

She specially used her non-dominant hand to achieve a natural shaking rhythm.

Dodo, tremble, tremble, tremble~~~

水晶的形成受到岩漿中的水氣流動與蒸發影響之大
因此水晶要畫的亮眼
必須要水夠多,甚至有一支筆刷只沾清水用
深色處也要夠敢、下的夠重
如同人生的痛苦與光明相等重要
為我們帶來更豐富的層次

The formation of crystals is greatly affected by the flow and evaporation of water in magma.

Therefore, to paint crystals well, you must use enough water.

There’s even a brush that only paints clear water,

you have to be bold enough and apply it heavily in dark areas.

Just like the pain and happiness in life are equally important.

They bring us a richer layer.



大概在第一個瑪瑙之後

大家就都進入自由創作

想畫什麼就畫什麼

我帶領的課程從來就不是要教畫的和我一模一樣
我的任務是帶你們看見屬於每個人的獨特美

Probably after the first agate, everyone entered a mode of creating freely,

painting whatever they want to paint.

The workshops I lead have never been about teaching people to draw exactly like me.

My mission is to show you the unique beauty that belongs to everyone.

水彩的特性是水會流動

如果筆刷來回碰觸一個地方太多次

那將會使所有顏色的顏料混再一起最後變成髒髒的土灰色

所以這時我也提醒大家

要學會下好離手不回頭看

不要一直想去控制它最後的長相

水會自然流成那幅畫面應該成為的樣子

The characteristic of watercolor is that water flows.

If the brush touches one are too many times,

that will cause all the paint colors to mix together and end up with a dirty earthy grey.

So I also reminded everyone at this time.

You must learn to let go without looking back.

Don't keep trying to control its final appearance.

The water will naturally flow into what the picture should be.


雖然有些人還在畫畫,但大多數人已經完成了繪畫部分

並準備好進行剪下和拼貼

在這裡,我讓人們決定是否要像普通繪畫一樣保留整張紙,或者只是想剪掉他們滿意的部分以製作最終畫面

正如我所料,沒有人採取完全相同的方法

每個人的做法都不同,我好喜歡看到各種不同方式!

While some people are still painting, most are finished their painting part

and ready to get into cutting and collaging.

Here, I let people decide if they want to keep the whole piece of paper like a normal painting, or they just want to cut off the ones they are happy with to make their final image.

As I expected, no one took exactly the same approach.

Everyone did it differently and I loved seeing all kinds of ways!

作品呈現有多種方式
就像我們每個人都很獨特
可以剪貼讓透了更透
也可以保留白色背景更像一幅真的畫作

本次課程選用真玻璃
不用塑膠玻璃
為的就是可以更透亮不容易有刮痕
不隨著時間流逝產生霧霧感
課程中準備了專用手套讓裝框步驟不留指痕
優雅進行✨

There are many ways to present works, just like each of us is unique.

You can cut and paste to make it more transparent,
or you can keep a white background, like a real painting.

In this workshop, we used real glass instead of plastic glass so that it can be more transparent and less prone to scratches.

It doesn’t become foggy with the time goes by.

Special gloves were prepared so that our finger marks were not left during the framing process.

We also prepared an interchangeable crystal guardian necklace for each.

Mingyu’s spirituality and artistic creation are extroadinary.

It is my great honor to meet such a special person, Mingyu.

My aunt who knows that love is the answer is love herself the radiator of love.

Although I decided to take a break after this workshop and no longer teach.

I plan to concentrate on cultivating inwardly to improve myself

and concentrate on moving into grandma's house to build my own queendom.

But seeing the feedback reminds me again why I wanted to lead workshops.
